2021 DIA Work Collection will end on June 25th. Up to now, the number of registered works has been rising continuously. How to make your work stand out? Here is a chance!


We have announced the first group of nominator last time, some participants may receive the “Pass Card” and get into Final Evaluation already. (Remark: 2021 DIA has 2 rounds of evaluation: Preliminary Evaluation &Final Evaluation)


Today, we will announce the second group of nominators. “DIA Bole” that consists by more than 40 senior masters, academic leaders and industrial elites from various professional fields is looking to see more excellent works.

Bi Xuefeng (China)

Dean of Design School, China Academy of Art


Professor, Ph. D. Supervisor, AGI member, academic member of the Shenzhen Graphic Design Association.His design works have won more than 100 awards at home and abroad, and have been collected by V&A Museum in the UK and Design Museum in Hamburg. He has served as jury member in National Fine Arts Exhibition, GDC Graphic Design in China, Golden Pin Design Award, Macau Graphic Design Biennale, China International Poster Biennale, etc. 


Sertac Ersayin (Turkey)

President of Creative Industries Council of Turkey


Executive Board Member of Design Turkey, President of Creative Industries Council of Turkey. Sertac Ersayin has participated as a jury member at various national and international design competitions such as IF Design Award/Hannover, Design Intelligence Award(DIA, Hangzhou–China Academy of Art), Shenzhen International Design Award, G Mark-Good Design Japan,  Design Management Europe Award/Eindhoven, etc. He previously worked as an industrial designer and design director for one of Fortune 500 companies in Istanbul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

Creative Advisor. Co-director of the Master Kids and Toys Design and Wine & System Design. Member of CILab, Creative Industries Laboratory, Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. Senior Advisor of the Kids&Toys Observatory, Politecnico di Milano. Professor of Final Synthesis Studio in Product Design. In 2017/18 he was co-curator of Giro Giro Tondo, Design for Children exhibition at Triennale Design Museum of Milano Ambassador of Italian design in Kuala Lumpur for the Designers Day project.


Fan Shengxi (China)

Professor of Tongji University


Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, Director of Industrial Design and Engineering Academic Degree Assessment Committee of Tongji University; Director of Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center; Academic director of Digital Integration and Innovation of Performing Arts Key Lab, Ministry of Culture; Member of Ministry of Education’s Steering Committee on the Teaching of Industrial Design in Higher Educational Institutions. He mainly engaged in design behavior and cognitive research, and has won the top10 of China Industrial Design Education and Ten-year Theoretical Contribution Award of China Industrial Design.

Lee Kun Pyo (Korea) 

Dean of School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University


Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer in the Corporate Design Center of the LG Electronics in Korea; Professor of Industrial Design, Korea Institute of Science and Technology; 30-year director ofthe Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory. He is pioneer of UX design and user-oriented design field.


Li Chaode (China)

Curator of Suzhou University Museum


Professor, Ph.D. supervisor, former dean of School of Art, Suzhou University, leader of Design doctoral degree in the first-class discipline, chief expert of National Social Science Major (Art) Project. He has published seven academic monographs such as “Design Aesthetics”, “Clothing Review”, “The Cultural Position of Design”, “Experience Vision”, etc. He has served as the final judge of the 11th, 12th and 13th National Fine Arts Exhibition(Design). 


John Mathers (UK)

Director of Design, British Design Fund


Then CEO of UK Design Council. John has been working for forty years in the brand and design industry, leading a number of marketing, brand and design consultancies in the UK and Internationally. In 2017 he co-founded The British Design Fund, a venture capital fund supporting well-designed British product start-ups. He is also working with the Design & Innovation School of Tongji University in Shanghai to set up a Design Innovation Hub in London in 2019.

BLANK has been encouraging large companies and start-ups to maintain flexibility, the service including product design, space, website, brand strategy, etc., to help customers implement the path to sustainable business success.

Professor and Ph.D. supervisor. He is committed to be Art practitioner of knowledge updating and design promoting, innovation educator of new design discipline, academic new thinking. He always promotes the sustainable development of art design from the perspective of globalization, the top-level strategy and the systematic development of socialization.


Tong Huiming (China)

Professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts


Vice President of Guangdong Provincial Industrial Design Association, Chairman of expert committee of Gornernor Cup Industrial Design Competition, jury member of G-mark 2017-202. He has 40-year experience in industrial design education, research and practice. In 2017, he proposed the concept of Brand driven by Design(BDD), and founded BDDWATCH research platform in 2018, to promote the development of BDD startup company. 


Pradyumna Vyas (India)

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)


Board member of WDO.Prof Pradyumna Vyas was the former director of National Institute of Design (NID), India’s premier design institute. He acquired a Masters in Industrial Design from the Indian Institute of Technology.He is former secretary general of India National Design Committee.World Education Congress, 2015, awarded him for his “Outstanding Contribution to Education”, he was awarded a “Lifetime Achievement Award” by Times Education Icons 2017.

 

Francesco Zurlo (Italy)


Deputy Dean of the School of Design, Politecnico di Milano


Professor of Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, in the courses of Integrated Product Design and Management Engineering. Former director of POLI.Design Consortium, no profit organization operating in the applied research and specialized education in the design fields. Founder and Director of CI.lab (a Politecnico’s research lab focused in Creative Industries), he is in the board of ADI Index, the most important organization for assessing the best design in Italy.
