The preliminary evaluation of the 8th Design Initiative Awards (DIA) was officially launched on 7th July! All public entries from China's main competition and overseas divisions will be judged by a panel of experts.

Previously, the public registration phase for designers around the world has been successfully concluded, and 2023DIA has received extensive attention and active participation from the whole industry. Here, the organising committee warmly reminds that the expert nomination channel is still open, so participants are requested to add complete information as soon as possible to complete the registration process, otherwise they will not be able to participate in the re-evaluation (the expert nomination channel will be closed on 23 July).

This year's preliminary evaluation jury line-up has been officially announced. The international jury, consisting of 69 experts from renowned universities, manufacturing enterprises, design companies, design media, museums, design associations and other fields from China, Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, UK, USA, Netherlands, India, Turkey, Portugal and other countries, will always follow the "Golden Tower" principle and will be responsible for the design of the competition. The international jury will always follow the "Golden Tower" evaluation system, and under the principle of fairness and impartiality, it will ensure the quality of the evaluation with diversified perspectives, so as to find out the truly outstanding people in the industry.
