Designed in 2021, REAV-60 is HydroSurv's most advanced Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) platform to date. The first-of-class vessel was delivered to major key player Sonardyne International [May 2022] and we have subsequently secured follow-on commitments from leading operators of USVs delivering diverse capability within offshore energy and maritime security. Available in both electric and diesel-electric formats, REAV-60 has excellent endurance for both nearshore coastal; and offshore Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) applications. The hybrid configuration brings together a 22kWh battery cluster and a 6kW generator for persistent at sea operations up to 14 days. Designed under Lloyd's Register Special Service Craft (SSC) Rules, the platform places regulatory compliance and system trust as core features of the design. The REAV-60 (along with all HydroSurv USVs) is now provided with our proprietary Virtual Watchkeeper Command & Control (C2) system - featuring built-in self test, intelligent fault diagnostics and advanced watchdog systems which deliver high-integrity, redundant and fault tolerant systems for remote applications. HydroSurv is going to keep this technology cutting edge. Collaborating with recognised experts in the field, we have an ambitious roadmap to extend Virtual Watchkeeper capabilities extensively making Virtual Watchkeeper one of the most advanced USV systems globally.
