WORK INTRODUCTION

Threads of Connection is a media art exhibition that reinterprets and celebrates Korea's 1,300 year cultural heritage. This innovative project leverages state-of-the-art digital technology and 3D assets from national heritage institutions to reimagine over 1,000 historical artifacts. Through ultra-high-definition stereoscopic video mapping and precise digital processing, traditional elements—from palace architecture to intangible cultural expressions—are transformed into a dynamic, immersive experience. The expansive 688m² venue, equipped with 28 4K and 4 8K projectors, creates an environment where heritage seamlessly bridges past and present. By merging modern technology with traditional aesthetics, the exhibition offers an accessible, eco-friendly journey that invites a diverse audience to experience Korea's rich cultural legacy in a fresh and engaging way.
