This project is the result of a strategic collaboration between YANG DESIGN, a renowned industrial design consultancy in China, and The Boeing Company, blending design excellence with feasibility for global commercial impact. The "Boeing Modular Galley Trolley System" is built upon a unified module that can be adapted into interchangeable functional modules—such as meal trolleys, waste-collection carts, refrigerated units, and ovens—that can be flexibly configured and combined to meet operational needs, improving efficiency and space utilization. In addition, the trolley worktop incorporates a dampened-hinge folding mechanism that enables multi-angle hover and secure placement, effectively doubling usable operational and storage space, thereby creating a pleasant experience for both cabin crew and passengers.
